What is a DNR Order?
Definition of DNR
A Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) order, also known as a Do Not Attempt Resuscitation (DNAR), is a medical order that documents a patient's wishes to not receive cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in the event of cardiac or respiratory arrest.
